We keep pigs on the farm for a bunch of reasons. They provide us with income, but their influence on our land is even more important. Our land was severely overgrown and had compacted soils. Because the pigs like to dig, they help us clear the land and loosen up the ground.
Since about half a year we’ve slowly started our own pig breeding operation. We’re very focussed on selecting the pigs with the best characteristics for their functions on the farm. Below you can see pictures of our pigs over the past two years.
