A bit of fun!

After clearing most of the regrowth we started designing our farm to be both efficient and careful with water. Tropical storms can be fierce and the terrain is rather mountainous, so it is very important to control flows of runoff water to prevent erosion and other damage. Access to all parts of the land is equally important so you don’t waste your energy crossing slopes to get from one place to another. We had a backhoe in to do all these bigger works: dams and roads. All small works we dig by hand. Some samples of our main infrastructure building below…
